Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Chapman University - CU 4.2 New to Chapman - they are an up and coming sorority on campus. Several comments have been that the girls don't "hang" together on campus. That's because they are embodying what it means today to be a strong female - they don't need to hang out in a group - they are inclusive, comfortable with themselves, attractive and diverse..... they set a great tone for women on campus.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Chapman University - CU 3.4 When going through recruitment I loved Pi Phis! A lot of really pretty and down to Earth girls, but there were a few random ones, probably since they’re so new to campus. They mostly associate with mid tier frats and aren’t super involved on campus. Definitely on the rise though

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Chapman University - CU 3.0 honestly kind of forget they are a sorority here, they have very little presence on campus. girls I know in the sorority say it is SUPr divided and doeesn't feel connected. middle tier sorority though with very pretty and nice girls, they just lack an overall feel as a sorority

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Chapman University - CU 3.9 You guys were really cool when I met you. I didn’t realize that you guys were pretty new to this campus. At my old school I really wanted to be a pi phi, but it’s nice to see that the good reputation sticks w/ multiple campuses.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at Chapman University - CU 2.5 Honestly, Pi Phi is still too new to campus to have a stereotype which is good or bad depending on how you view it. So I'll start with the pros to joining this chapter. PROS: -New to campus so it is easy to mold the sorority into what you want it to be -Diverse group of gals, not everyone is the same personality type nor do they all look the same -Even though they're new, they are not "bottom" house (if that's important to you) -Nationally, they are a strong sorority. -Easy to snag a leadership position. While all of this is great, there are definitely some cons. I'm really not trying to bash them, this is just my honest opinion on what they lack as a chapter and need to work on. CONS: -The on-campus presence is lack-luster. Rarely will you see a group of Pi Phis hanging out together which tells me that their sisterhood is weak. This could be because they are such a diverse group of women and they don't necessarily have the same values like other sororities on campus. -Some of the girls (not all) give the chapter a bad name. They have a reputation for being trashy/uncontrollable/a nnoying at events, which is not a good look. -They have not yet established a strong yearly philanthropy event that they are known for. Hopefully, this changes soon. Ultimately, I think Pi Phi has the potential to grow into a fantastic chapter but for now they are trying to figure out how they fit into the Greek Life at Chapman. In terms of "ranking", I would put them above AGD (that's a whole other story) and equal to (if not above) Tri Delta. However, I do not believe that they are on the same level as Kappa/Gphi/Theta (as some may try to argue). The newest pledge class seems to be a step in the right direction as it seems to be more cohesive than it has been in the past, but we'll see what happens.
