greek questions ???
by: JTI’m not in Greek life yet. I might rush next semester in the fall, but I have some random questions first. Do all members of sororities get a big and little ? What about fraternities? Was it a good or bad experience for you ? Pros and cons of Greek life? What’s a gdi?

If you are talking about Panhellenic sororities:(Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Tri-Delta, Delta Gammma, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa, and Zeta Tau Alpha) yes they all pair new members with a member as a "big" and "little."
I had a good experience and would recommend Greek life at CSULB.
Pros: Friendships, activities, philanthropy opportunities, connections(during school and after), alumni support and fun social events.
Cons: Not really a con but more of a reality as there is the financial aspect. It's a little more expensive as a new member.
A GDI is a means that you are independent and don't belong to a Greek organization.
Good luck if you choose to go through formal recruitment.
