fraternity rankings
by: Fu2022Hey I’m attending Furman in the fall and I was curious what order the fraternities fall in here and what their reputations are? I’m not looking for bashing just an honest opinion of the fraternities here

While I’d strongly recommend getting to know each fraternity for yourself rather following rankings or stereotypes, I would say that most people would agree with the following:
Top Tier: Kappa Alpha, Sigma Chi
Upper Middle: Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Nu
Lower Middle: Tau Kappa Epsilon
Bottom Tier: Beta Theta Pi

All of the frats have great guys in them, it's all a matter of finding a group of guys you mesh with. Rush this year was strange, so the above rankings really aren't that accurate. Beta is considered the bottom, but all of the other frats mix with all of the sororitys and have cool guys in them.
