Its insanely sad, but Sig tau, once the most dominant fraternity at the school, has become a complete laughing stock, and this is coming from one of the alum. They barely have any events besides maybe 1 philanthropy event each year, and they cant even recruit members anymore. The chapter itself is down to not even 10 people. Most of the members they do have are un motivated and unwilling to put in any effort to better the chapter, and some of them have a history of being creepy towards girls. They better pick it up fast or sigma pi is gonna be the only fraternity left at the school. They're running out of time. Honestly been embarrassed to say I was an alum for this organization nowadays.

Their recent reviews should show you what you need. Looking at one in particular. They cannot even come up with a meaningful review with any substance for THEMSELVES. Not to mention they've been getting in trouble on campus with stalking, SA, etc.

Sig tau has been declining. They rarely retain members and only bring in new members through parties

They are more of a party fraternity. Some are friendly others are not. They have stepped it up and have done more philanthropy work. They need to get parties a little more under control but great guys. I definitely see some potential to be better but there working on it. They are better than UMLs sig tau.

If you date them and then have a break up, expect them to say horrible things about you. Have a disgusting habit of calling themselves "poon hounds."

In recent years since joining in Fall 2021, our chapter has undergone significant changes, notably with the influx of a large class and the departure of many members due to graduation. Despite facing challenges with lower numbers, our chapter hasn't faltered; rather, we've prioritized quality over quantity. It's disheartening to see some alumni expressing embarrassment about their affiliation with our chapter online. Instead of airing grievances publicly, we encourage alumni to engage with current members and offer constructive feedback. At Sig Tau, our focus remains on fostering brotherhood and contributing to philanthropic efforts. While it's true that our event calendar may have experienced some gaps due to post-COVID rebuilding efforts and new school restrictions, we're proud to have welcomed a spring class of four following a fall class of two. Criticisms from those unfamiliar with our current activities don't accurately reflect the dedication and hard work of our members.
