Letters of Recommendation and Resume

Hi!
Is it too early to start submitting rec letters and resumes early this fall? Is it better to wait until closer to rush? Also, if I’m a legacy (my mom was in one of the sororities) does she write the rec letter? Thanks!

never too early! get your recs in for each sorority asap so you don't have to stress about it in the fall. it's easier and better to do that in summer so when fall rolls around, you can focus on meeting active members through rush dates and panhellenic previews!
