official 2015 end of year rankings
by: clem
This was a really interesting year because it saw more movement in one year than I've seen in any of my four years here. There were big ups and downs, with some people staying and some rebounding. Major points before moving to the rankings:
1. Dsig has been overvalued on here since people moved from yak to greekrank. I'm not really sure why, maybe it's just because more Dsigs use this, but it's wrong. No girl considers DSig best, and they tend to recruit a lower tier of guys during rush. Granted, they had a great year and deserve credit for that, but a lot of their 36 freshmen (yes, 36) would have gone pikapp or ato other years.
2. KA is better than they've ever been. They were not a historically good fraternity, and have slowly climbed the rankings over the past 5 years. With their strenght concentrated in their juniors, they have at least another year on top ahead. With that said there is some weakness in their sophs.
3. ADPhi and Snu are back from the dead. Both have schemed to find ways to have unofficial parties, and both have turned what originally looked like subpar rush classes (due to size) into cooler kids. With that said, they both need to have a good fall to make sure they stay on tier 1--they came way too close for comfort to blowing it long-term. And with adphi's investigation still in the air, and snu's probation ongoing, we will see.
Anyway,
KA
ADPhi
Snu
Dsig
Pike
Pikapp
ATO
Sigep
DTD
SAE
Sigchi
Ksig
AEPi
The rest

i think a good amount of adphi's freshmen are pretty chill but with the whole situation going on with the fraternity not as many people have seen them. I think Adphi's standing as a fraternity at duke is based on how good they make Lei this year because it'll be the first major event for them of the semester and the first chance for a lot of people to actually meet their freshmen
