So many upperclassmen?
by: QuestionMy bff from home just rushed and I was looking at her new sororities tagged pictures and it seems like a bunch of upperclassmen rush here? Is it normal for girls to not rush freshmen year and try as a sophomore, or did those girls re rush? It’s very rare for upperclassmen to get top tier bids at my school so I was thrown!

A lot of girls really have no idea about sororities, the process of recruitment, or a generalized fear of hazing so as entering freshmen they do not rush.
Some girls choose to wait until sophomore year to get settled into school prior to rushing.
Some girls are transfers from other schools.
It doesn’t reflect negatively on the chapters or girls who are selected.
