pnm's please read

If you are a PNM please keep an open mind during rush at JMU. What no one, but your Rho Gamma, will tell you is that you will get dropped from one or multiple sororities that you are interested in and sometimes you will have no idea why. You will have talked to several members and thought things were great and you looked cute and you smiled and you get dropped and have no clue. I saw girls getting dropped from Low and mid tier sororities last year who ended up in top sororities. I saw girls get dropped from all the top sororities after day one. It's brutal. And if you think you can easily get into a top sorority and you act rude and disinterested in a lower to mid tier sorority you could find yourself not getting asked back anywhere. So please keep an open mind. All sororities at JMU have positives and negatives. All sororities have girls who like to party and girls who like to study and girls who do both. There is something for everyone, just have the confidence to accept where you end up and not be embarrassed about it.

Trust the process girls! If you end up not getting your top choices, stick with it. And if you still don't feel comfortable you do not have to accept a bid. However, it wasn't until day three that I really felt a connection. And then preference sealed the deal. Just give it all a chance.
