Here is my explanation
The core four hype that everyone has been posting about is ~kinda~ true, in my opinion ASA needs to have one more really solid recruitment to be on the same level as the top tiers (Totally possible, but just not quite yet). SSS has been on the steady decline but overall still a really good chapter they just only really recruit one type of girl. Alpha Phi gets hyped a lot, but they have issues playing nice with all of the other sororites and break A LOT of the rules during recruitment, giving them not the most well liked perception. Phi Mu has been consistently getting better pledge classes then Theta at this point but this year will show if they can pass Alpha Phi. Theta peaked about 3 years ago and has not been doing well since (a lot of internal issues and conflicts). AST is fun for a bottom tier but they don't recruit well. ADPi is 100% the best of the bottom tier, gamma phi started off strong but they haven't done well since they started formally recruiting. DG is DG

I think ASA should at least be on the same level as tri delt if not higher. No I am not in ASA but they consistently get pretty girls and mix with the top frats whereas tri delt only started to really get noticed this year and still mix with middle tier frats (along with top tier) they had a good pledge class last year but their older girls aren't comparable to a lot of other top tier sororities older girls. They're a good sorority they just haven't been as consistently good whereas ASA has.

im in one of the other "core four" sororities and i would have to agree that asa should be at least higher than tri delt. We mix with them along with the other top tier frats where as we never mix with tri delt.... sk, asa, tri delt and zeta are 100% on the same tier based off their social schedules and attractive, cool pledge classes.
