strats and juniors

Really depends. I know a couple girls in "top tier" sororities that got bids as juniors, but some sororities won't take juniors at all due to national rules. You have a slight disadvantage being older, but as long as you be yourself you'll be fine. A sorority will take into account your year but if they like you they'll highly consider you / even extend a bid to you.

Gamma phi and DG definitely will and both are great sororities with some great girls, gamma phi is newer and still trying to figure themselves out while DG is a lot more laid-back and real and their reputation is getting so much better, they're definitely solid middle tier now.
