gpa/sororities

I have a low gpa but still meet the gpa requirements so do most sororities care?

Kappa and Chi O seem to care about grades the most, so if your GPA is too low you'll probably get dropped from these two.
Grades are important to all sororities though.

Thanks. I realized that. I just don't want gpa to be a deciding factor that's all though can be. I tried but I know could done a whole lot better.

some sororities such as xi or chi o wont even take under a 2.75 but i would just contact them and ask

If you have the minimum gpa you should still go through recruitment. Just be prepared for a lot of houses to drop you. If you don't get a bid you can focus on getting your gpa up for spring. Good luck!

Most sororities require a GPA higher than the minimum GPA to rush

not exactly. You are allowed to rush with the minimum but as you've said some houses may have their own minimum they will accept, so they will cut anyone with a gpa less than that. Still doesn't hurt for her to try it out and see

Yes this is for sure true but if there was a specific reason or issue as to why you're GPA was low be sure to let the girls you talk to during rush know that because 9 times out of 10 they can make an exception if they know why your GPA was low.
