2. Pi Beta Phi
The girls of Pi Beta Phi are hands on when it comes to their philanthropic mission to create a more literate society. They are involved with top-tier reading programs such as Read. Lead. Achieve., First Book, and The Library of Congress Center for the Book, which all aim towards engaging people in the marvel of reading. They get involved by donating 20,000 new books to children in need, and promote literacy during their fraternity day of service, which cleverly falls on March 2, Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
