Comment:  DPhiE attracts people who are willing to work hard for something higher than personal ambition-- a goal, a change, a cause. It accepts women who are strong and fun and sometimes counterculture. Perhaps people criticize DPhiE because the sisterhood's main focus is sisterhood, not looks or prestige or deriving their value from the frats they mixed with. DPhiE doesn't judge people based on how they look, and accepts transgender women. But women in DPhiE love their sorority. That's why I chose DPhiE over Theta last year.
