@ “Top Houses”- I had the same experience. I didn’t know anyone and came from a State hardly anyone is from. I ranked houses based on what I saw and the conversations we had. I will admit that the top 4 OR houses dropped me after 1st rounds before they even met me but I would not have been happy in those houses. I had an almost full card all week. I pref’d a house that is continually ranked as a “bottom” over a house that is considered on here a top mid tier. Other PNMs thought I was crazy but I didn’t know about reputations, ranks, etc. and I didn’t care what girls I barely knew told me. Tent talk is toxic. I ❤️ my house and all the friends I’ve made in it. It’s already my second home and I have no regrets. Based on comments here, I should be miserable but that is just not the case. I might add that my roommate ended up in a top OR house in part because she believed the rankings and tent talk and she ended up leaving her house before initiation. She had an awful experience.
