I am from Texas and I am really only looking at the girls from my hometown and surrounding areas. I am getting to know these girls and am prepared to go to bat for many of them. My focus is on them. For those pnm who keep saying that they don't know any girls, my heart goes out to them, because I will likely never get to meet them during rush. I will be concentrating on those I do know. I can't possibly get to know all 1300 girls going through. We all focus our attention to our hometowns and states. If a sorority doesn't have a girl from your hometown, you are at a disadvantage, no question about it. The op pointed out which sororities had girls from which state. Just because one sorority doesn't have anyone from your state doesn't mean we don't want you, it just means we won't have the opportunity to meet you prior to voting. You do have a shot, you just need to network and find someone who can help you meet us. Maybe your roommate, or someone on your floor will know girls. Hang out with them..... Just one idea out if thousands.
