The FIJIs at IU are pretty adamant as to who they want in their chapter & this has been the case for decades. It all comes down to these things: Did you go to Carmel/Zionsville/HSE/Cathedral/anywhere else in FIJI’s recruiting pool? Were your brothers/cousins/uncles/dads/grandpas in FIJI? Does anyone in FIJI know dudes at their high schools who would fit right into their chapter? If you can answer yes to any/all of these questions, your chances of getting a bid from FIJI skyrocket exponentially. If not, you won’t get one but there are other fraternities who’ll give you the time of day.
