Because a bunch of 18 year old girls will form first impressions based on looks and popularity. But it sounds like you and your rush group have the right mindset. Keep it up and you'll end up with your perfect match. :) Not saying pi phi is a bad house, but there are too many girls who don't "click" with a house but will still rank them high on their list just because they're top tier. Pi phi will be a great fit for a lot of girls, but if you didn't have an awesome time there, it just wasn't for you. Same with other houses.
