Alpha Phi, Dartmouth
The new Alpha Phi house at Dartmouth is located at a prime intersection -- where the central campus transitions to a residential area. According to the architects, Haynes and Garthwaite, the “building massing and detailing were designed to relate to the Colonial Revival fraternity and sorority houses on campus while respecting the scale of the nearby single family residences.” We love it because it looks like a charming country house! Bonus: an elevator!
