I hate to bring this to light, but why does our fraternities lack diversity. It basically all white guys, why is that? are other races not rushing or are they not getting accepted?

The top fraternities, and even some of the lesser ones, won't take any non-whites. The sororities are like that too, although theirs is mostly due to alumni

This is just not the case. I know this seems like a great explanation but it's absolutely wrong. I would guess who ever posted this has never gone through rush or has dealt with rush because it is almost impossible to exclude someone based on anything superficial really, especially race.

Uhhhhh.... non-whites don't even rush... that's why there isn't much diversity. The one's who do rush, get bids. To the guys above me, stop fabricating stories.

Sig Ep, Beta, Lambda and Pike would all be good options for a black.

So those are the only chapters at USC willing to take non-white members? Good to know. USC and Greek nationals should find this VERY interesting. Rolling Stone too.

No need to pull the race card on this one. A lot of other races typically rush the multicultural frats if they do rush but there are a few in the regular
