what do i tell my pnm friend...
by: ADPiHey guys! So I'm technically a pnm, but basically I already know I'm going ADPi (lol they love me). My best friend from childhood is also rushing and I made the mistake of telling her about me going ADPi and she now has it in her head that she wants to also so we can be sisters. I love her and id LOVE to be sisters with her, but not to be mean AT ALL (don't hate on me please) but even though she's so sweet and down to earth and hilarious she's not super cute/gorgeous, and she's not wealthy. I know that's SO superficial to say but I know that is what ADPi wants. How do I explain to her that ADPi isn't going to grant her a bid? I already told her to keep her expectations realistic but she said she wants to go in with no expectations, which in my opinion is a little childish. I need to tell her not to expect an old row bid but I also don't want to hurt her feelings, especially when I pref 3 old row and she most likely won't. Any advice? This is just such a hard position to be in an idk what to say or do, maybe our friendship just wasn't meant to last in college.

This is exactly the way adpi rolls. To bad once this type gets to Athens they see that adpi isn't what they are cracked up to be!!!!! Ha!!!! Most of them want out after freshman year.
