spring pledging

by: Rushee

I'm a legacy for a fraternity that is considered bottom tier. I want to be in the same fraternity that my dad was in, but also want to join a fraternity that actually has a presence on campus. Any advice?

Sounds like you can't really have both. I'd say sticking with a legacy is over rated, particularly at A&M where alumni support is rather limited. Go make your own experience.

With being a legacy unless you actually like the guys your a legacy for. There's no point in joining a fraternity if you don't like the guys. That being said, just because they're smaller or "bottom tier" doesn't mean you won't like them. You may even like them better. Don't let tier make your choice. I promise you, very few people actually care about that. Just go where you fit in
