accurate fraternity rankings 2014

by: How it is now

Top: Wealthy, good looking, quality guys with fun parties and a big presence on campus. Very prestigious
-Fiji
-SAE
-KA

Lower Top: Pretty much the same as top but maybe a little less wealthy and prestigious
-Delt
-Sigep
-Beta

Middle: Fun parties. Mixed guys, some weirdos, still solid chapters.
-Sigma Chi
-Pike
-Kappa Sig

Lower: Not prestigious, poor quality guys. But they still have a strong social life.
-Sigma Nu
-PiKap

Bottom: No one pays attention to them. Just kind of there.
-PhiDelt
-Chi Phi
-ATO

Irrelevant: No one knows or cares about them. Hardly even recognized as actual fraternities by the general student body.
-Everyone who wasn't listed above

This is pretty much spot on. Except I think there's really not much of a difference between Fiji/SAE/KA and Delt/Sigep/Beta, they're all pretty even and interchangeable. Beta might be a little below the others

How is SAE prestigious at all? Pretty much anyone in the other top 5 chapters could have gone SAE if they wanted to. Great parties and a great house, but definitely not "prestigious"

Delt and sig ep are on another level compared to beta, much closer to the top three of this list than beta.

You're probably a fiji. There are a lot of people, especially girls that would argue that SAE, Delt, and sig ep are just as good if not better than fiji. The only arguement they possibly have going for them is money. The other three I listed have better houses, parties, and are more popular with the women. Fiji bids some real losers from memorial, HP, AH; but if they have money why not right??

If you're looking at the big picture of tamu greeklife I think it goes
Top: Delt, fiji, KA, SAE, sig ep
Middle: beta, kappa sig, sigma chi, sigma nu
Lower: ATO, phi delt, pi kapp (would say pike but they're not longer a fraternity at tamu)
Everyone else is kinda irrelevant for this conversation

And before anyone gets butthurt I listed the teirs in alphabetical order cause within the teir it's basically personal preference.
