Rankings don't mean a thing.
Here is what matters:
-Get involved. Stop wasting time and do something! The greek life is what you make of it and you only get 4 years as a collegiate.
-Wear your letters and promote a positive greek life on campus.
-Give of your time and talents to make your chapter and greek life better.
-Fall in love with your philanthropy and give, give, give.
-Open your hearts to your sisters/brothers and forge lifelong friendships. They don't just happen, you have to work on them.
-Live in your house if possible. So much fun!
-When you graduate - keep up with your sorority/fraternity alum groups in your city. It is totally a lifetime commitment and will be so worth it.

I love this post. Well said. Finally something that makes sense on this site. Listen to the above advice and you can't go wrong. Tune out the crap and just go do your thing with your people! You'll have a blast if you do. Four years flies by. Enjoy it and don't waste time hating on others, ranking or judging them. Just focus on making yourself and those around you better.

This is very hard to do when you are arriving from the outside HIgh School world of " I have to look cool" but most adults grow beyond that and want to spend time with people that support, encourage them and have similar interests. If you can take this post to heart you will have a exciting recruitment and even better college years.
