Agree with TCU^^^ The houses mentioned have some of our nicest girls so don't be closed minded. You wants friends not just letters on a shirt.

Last year was the biggest group ever and next year is expected to be getting even bigger. Girls need to have an open mind to all our houses. All are exceptional and you should be proud to receive a bid. Not everyone did that maximized their offers last time which was a first.

Not meaning to freak anyone out but these posts are accurate. Don't go into rush thinking you have to have a certain house because all our houses are strong and competition is getting crazy.

I was so proud of my daughter that she had an open mind as any one of the houses would be great. however, just having an open mind, being friendly and kind and having a great resume will not guarantee a bid. it is wonderful that tcu is starting another chapter in the spring!

Easily over 1000 girls will rush next fall. With TCU being the 2nd hardest school to be accepted in to, one of the most costly price tags and making News Weeks list for one of the nations most attractive student bodies be prepared. You can't know about any house until you have been here. I'm in what is considered a top tier house and every year prances in some chick acting like she is doing US a favor. NO house has to put up with that. If you can't be friendly during recruitment it's over because houses talk. Maximize your invites and don't be put out if you don't get as many as you expect. Your life long friends could behind any door so when it opens and you are greatly with smiles and applause appreciate it. If you do this you will among the lucky 50% of our student body to have the honor of being greek.

I love TCU and all, but this is not the second hardest school to get into. Come on. The order does not go: Harvard, TCU, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth..... Give it up already. We have a good time, and I'm glad I go here, but this isn't an academic school.

The group has grown so large that for the first time ever it will take two days to visit every chapter. Everyone excelled in High school or they would have made the cut for TCU. With so many amazing women you have to know all houses are above average. Be your best, be polite and be receptive to all invitations and bids. With 1000 plus girls you will need these attributes to make it through.

Just keep an open mind and remember that there are great girls in every house! Don't get your heart set on one. Be genuine and let the true you shine through. Ignore the stereotypes on this site, and just stay positive through the process. It all seems to work out in the end.

It is hard to relax during this hectic week but if you can have a peace that you will end up where you belong if you are true to yourself you won't miss out on the excitement of this once in a lifetime experience.

Luv the above post from Rush. A lot of things are out of your hands so do try to enjoy the ride and don't think you know where you belong. All are houses have quality areas so trust in yourself and go where you feel cared for.

Good advise plus learn about the chapters. Which focus on academics and which on hitting the party hard. What are your priorities? Go where you will find similar girls and the letters matter much less.

It was brutal. You really need to have an open mind when going through the process or you may end up with nothing. Competition is way above average schools here.
