grades.

What do you consider good grades for rush at ole miss? I am from the north and know that because I'm not southern, I need to be very strong in other areas. I have a 3.9 GPA and a 31 act + LOTS of leadership, community involvement, etc... do you think my grades good may be enough to stand out despite the fact that I am a northern girl? Genuinely curious.. Thanks!

Your grades and resume sound good, but won't necessarily make you a stand out.

Your personality is what will make you stand out. Work on confidence, be bubbly, make us want to be your sister. We will remember the girls we deem to be "cool".

Academics, check! Involvement, check! Leadership, check! All that's left are connections, but with your grades you can easily get into a middle tier house if you have a good personality.

Go into rush confident! You may be super smart, but we have to think you can fit in (which is alright if you don't fit in with a house!).
