Top tier sororities are exclusive. They want missisippi or southern girls and rarely make exceptions. They cut the most girls day 1 of Rush. They're the houses you want to get into but probably won't. Top houses know half of their PC before rush even begins. Legacies, family and alumni connections are everything.
Middle tier is less exclusive but still more picky than bottom tier. They still want the mississippi and southern girls but will has girls from the Midwest, north, and west coast. You don't really need connections to get into these houses if you have a good resume and stand out during rush week. These are the houses you take once top tier cuts you.
