Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 3.8 They weren't my favorite in recruitment. I didn't like the wall paper, the drink wasn't to my liking, my girl was kind of awkward... Me and DG just clashed, but regardless, I know a lot of girls that would have killed to be in this house. It has a very prestigious history and they are THE MOST involved in campus life. Their community service is off the charts and I'm really proud that they are on our campus and were the first to be at Ole Miss.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at University of Mississippi - Ole Miss 5.0 DG was closed through no fault of the chapter. In the early 1930s, Ole Miss was in a shambles as a university -- the crooked governor at the time ran it into the ground by firing the faculty and staff and replacing them with his cronies. As a result, Ole Miss lost its accreditation. DG nationals thought it would look bad to have a chapter at an unaccredited school, so they closed the chapter in 1931 and reopened it in 1938, when things got back to normal. They built their house that same year.

Maybe so but the original Ole Miss DG chapter had to be closed and was actually recolonized much later. Only girls from my Mississippi hometown that pledge DG are very odd, shy girls that the other groups barely rush.
