having someone you know in the house rooting for you during rush is your largest asset. but this does not mean you're getting in. It just helps keep your name a priority during rush, and helps you not get overlooked.
being pretty, and having a great personality to match is a key that you need to use if you have it. also, having good style.

If you do not know anyone in a house you want to join. Try to prospect/target someone in the house. Do it before it's "illegal". If someone is in your class... maybe accidentally sit next to them.
During rush... find something interesting to talk about before rush meet and greek. Something that will want them to have you in the house. Sell your self.

you don't have to be exceptionally good-looking to get into any of these. honestly. i mean, it helps if you are...but you just need to not be unattractive. so if you have a face that looks good with make-up (even a ton of make-up) and hair that can be straightened everyday...clothes that are from urban and you're roughly the same size as the other girls in the house...the only thing you need to really work on is making your personality match up with theirs. none of these girls is particularly remarkable (okay most of them anyway) but rather they're just good at blending into one attractive mass.

I love how people from Indianapolis hold Carmel in such high regard. "oohhh your from Carmel....". As if they have been knighted by the king and everyone must bow. "ohh he's from Carmel".
How the minions of Indiana are so impressed. It ain't that special. A nice area with some of the MOST affordable housing. The price would get you a town house in north suburbs of Chicago.\n\n\n\n\n

being from Carmel is boring. It helps if youre out of state because that makes you interesting. yeah if youre from indy and know people thats cool but its overrated.

if you knew anything about any of these houses you would know they are definitely not big carmel houses.. alpha phi probably most out of the 4, axo most in general

That the biggest BS. Nobody cares that your on a floor committee or IUDM. NOBODY. They might pretend to care, but they dont. Stick with knowing someone and looking good.
