is there a bid day for summer rush or is it just giving out bids as houses see fit? Or is summer rush just for fraternities to get an idea of who is going to get a bid in the fall?

Fraternities don't have "bid Days "like sororities do aka big parties to celebrate all the bids they gave out.
However they do give out bids in the summer and a lot of those guys stay pledges through the fall getting initiated with the fall pledge classes.
