Age is never an issue. We'd never turn down an awesome person simply cus they're too old. That's just silly

you keep saying that, but like.....it's simply not true. It IS harder to get a bid as a junior, especially for the higher-tier/more popular sororities. It's not impossible, but it is really hard.
