NOTE: This is based on 2014 property values.

Fiji will likely be #1 spot after their $3 million expansion project is added to property value tax assessment. Projected 2015 TOTAL VALUE: $7,096,186

And after KS new chapter house, they'll be coming in around $6MM. Good post that isn't subjective like everything else on this site

Most sorority houses are less expensive

Because not all of those houses are paid for yet and some have high dollar Home Equity Loans so they can expand.

those annual dues are really off for some

because the dues are never updated/accurate on the dean site for most fraternities.

Also the house sizes are only based on number of kids at UT, since the houses don't report ACC or St.Ed's students to IFC. KA definitely has more than 140, and machi's number is probably pretty accurate. Can probably add at least 10-15 kids to the other houses.

Interesting idea though, one of those better posts on here

Good postiNg. Though I think if you boil it down it still all goes back to money. If you took a "bottom tier" sor or frat and threw tons of money at it i guarantee they will be top tier over a period of time. It eont be immediate but it will happen. It all comes down to resources. Case in point: Sigep. They were nobodies until a certain wealthy alumnus of theirs plunked down a significant amount of his own money to build them that nice house. true they still arent "old row" like fiji or ka, but they sure have comr a long way since the 70s and 80s. They have a black alum from the 70s Era. That ought to tell you their position and social stamding before their relatively recent change in fortune.

A Nice House is a Nice House and you can't take that away.

If you build it they will come. Field of dreams. A big cash infusion to build or acquire a new house will likely mean a large top performing chapter in the future (5 10 yrs). True for any new group thinking about taking it to the next level or just starting up.

Watch Phi psi. I bet they'll rise significantly in the next 5 yrs or so barring any disastrous accidents etc.

Phi Psi is building a house to compete with Fiji/SAE/SigEp/KA just like Kappa Sig did.
