Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority Ratings at UT

I'm so impressed with them. I just visited one of my besties at UT and everyone I met was so gorgeous and SMART. They are so active and always had friends coming in their rooms asking us to go on a walk or play pickle ball or to Spicy's before going out - just anything fun. I felt so welcome and am honestly jealous I don't go here as my house doesn't have that close vibe. UT has a wild reputation and some of our friends went to another house and have really changed - it's been pretty shocking to see the difference in them now so i'm glad to see that she gets to be in a house that seems to bring out the best in her. Wish I was here too!

Bless your heart- Pi Phi doesn’t snap bid- everyone knows they take the top and stop (and you know it). Always the girls that are cut that try to say otherwise. I’m sure there are plenty of girls for you to choose from in yours so hope you can find your happiness there!

Too picky- cut the most popular girl from my high school because she vaped and drank too much during Resurrection, hit on a junior’s boyfriend and blacked out while visiting - I secretly loved it until they cut me too

I joined this sorority and have loved it! I met girls I never would have known if it were not for pi phi. I also love that at pi phi all of the grades are friends, which is not common in other sororities. I have never been scared of older girls and have always felt so welcome.

Year after year pref night data proves they get the best returns - most desirable girls know the real thing when they see it. Proud of these girls and this chapter of fine leaders. Smart, classy and beautiful!

Wow! Someone sure is working hard in our comments to try to scare girls off! I personally don't have any of those labels (would happily take them though!) Not once have I ever felt judged by another Pi Phi and I have met a million of the coolest, most genuine girls in this house - No I didn't go to private school, No I didn't go to an exclusive camp. No my parents aren't alums. I worked hard at school, extracurriculars and spending time with friends in high school and have found the same girls here. Are there some crazy rich girls? Absolutely yes but not all - and all really sweet and down to earth and do not care or judge me that I am not just as I don't hold it against them that they are. That's just silly. Are we hard to get into? Absolutely but that's why we've always been top house. Pi Phis hold themselves to the highest standards and honestly want the best for each other. We work hard and play hard making life long friends while loving UT. Good character actually counts to get the invite here which is nothing to hide and has absolutely zero to do with money or designer labels.

Let's be very clear. PiPhi is ranked No1 because they are exclusive, meaning coveted because they were first to market or close to and they take 4 dozen girls or similar. 95% of those girls are connected with each other via family and friends. I know several PiPhis that are 3rd plus generation and if you're the random 5% sprinkling, you will thrive if you are equally important, meaning comfortable and connected. The fact that they almost exclusively hang out with 1-2 frats tells you this is not a club to join to meet 500 people but to stay with the 50-100 you grew up with. Are there exceptions? Sure. Many? No, not at all. So if you want to feel inferior with your one Gucci crossbody, your one Hermes belt, your one Cartier love bracelet and one Reformation dress by all means, Goodspeed but unless you literally do not care what they think of you, you will feel isolated and judged even though they may hardly notice you. And this is not just PiPhi but it is very visible at PiPhi. I have it on good authority that they already have their PC23 ready to go. Rush is a mirage at PiPhi and good for them. Honestly. Not hating, I have a couple of PiPhi friends that are solid as gold but we need to be honest to the poor girl from Frisco who is getting her hopes up by these ra ra posts.

Love it here - Our house and pledge classes stay intact because we are all GENUINE girls who actually CARE ABOUT and FOR each other. It IS tough to get in but that is why we are still on top decade after decade. You will never be embarrassed to be a UT Pi Phi!

There is some truth to what disappointed angel is saying. it’s a very tough PC this year. Tough as in many aloof girls, cliquey and hard to get to know. My daughter is not happy and has some regrets but we hope next year will be better.

FAKE COMMENT in BELOW "disappointed" ; POST Some people will say anything to try to knock us off the top but don't believe them. No one drops out of Pi Phi unlike others because we choose carefully. Quality of character matters and we love our house and all we invite as members! Go Pi Phi and Hook 'Em!
