sorority recruitment fall 2014

How much do letters of recommendation help you in the process? Do they help at least a little? or are they a waste of time?

I'm not concerned about being "top-tier", I just want to make sure I have a good opportunity with any house that I feel at home at.

I didn't get any letters of recommendation and it still worked out perfectly fine for me. I'm in the house that fits me best and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. I've heard multiple times that letters of recommendation help you get past the first round but after that you're on your own.

Honestly they don't matter that much. They'll know plenty about you before you even walk through the door. If you aren't that great a letter of recommendation won't help and if you are you won't really need one.

I know some sororities really use them so I would get them to keep your options as wide open as possible
