Girls do get dropped entirely but it doesn't necessarily mean that a house doesn't want you...they just might want someone else more. Some houses prefer girls from a certain area and girls that they already know. Recs are important but that guarantees nothing. Just do your best, look your best, smile and keep a positive attitude. If you don't get a bid, it is not the end of the world. It does not mean that you are a loser. You can always try again next year and some houses even hold rush in the spring. Also know that you don't have to be greek to have a great time at UT!

you may be awesome, but girls must meet the grade requirements or they will be dropped. Check each house's requirement, but most are 3.0.
