Not everyone can or wants to be in one of the top tier sororities. Honestly, there is a ton of pressure and responsibility in being a member of one of the top sororities. These girls always have a candidate or two in the top 5 Miss Auburn and HComing. This requires the whole chapter to campaign for their member( which is fun and awesome) on top of chapter requirements, other organization requirements, and most important can take away from studies. These girls are involved in EVERY organization on campus! There is pressure to uphold the standards of the chapter socially. If you are not up to that challenge it may be better to pledge a more layers back sorority. Being a latex back sorority does not mean a "less" desirable sorority. All of Auburn's sororities are great, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to be in a sorority that is chill and fun. Every sorority has beautiful, fun, smart girls. PNM's need to make sure they know themselves well and choose well in the end.
