do any sororities only take freshmen?

Basically, if I'm rushing as a sophomore, are there any that would not accept me strictly because I'm not a freshman? Just a rumor I heard, but I'm not sure which one.

That is only a rumor! You may go through formal sorority recruitment at any grade level. You can refer to www.kentpanhellenic.com/ for more information. I am glad that you are interested in joining this wonderful community!

I joined my fraternity as a second semester sophomore and I know girls who joined their sororities as sophomores. It's no big deal. Have fun with it and join the Greeks. You will be glad you did.

I'm a sophomore too! I'm going to rush this fall as well. Any advice? Is it more difficult for upperclassmen?

i went through rush as a junior and got a really good sorority . Don't worry about it. You will do fine.
