Kent State University - KSU 3.8 I am unaware of the fraternal greek life experience, but the sorority greek life experience at KSU is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough!

Kent State University - KSU 3.8 The biggest issue with Kent greek life is housing. Only fraternities with real solid houses are sigma chi, Kappa sig, and Phi Delt. The university is building 3 more houses that will consist of one 18 person house and two 32 person houses. Other then that, Kents greek life is one of the best when it comes to philanthropy and involvement. most organizations raise 60,000 from their events, which is insane. Parties are a bunch of fun, but its very obvious what houses are dominant. All of the Main Street houses such as Phi Delt, Phi tau, and Sigma chi are known for the best parties strictly based off of their house location. Kappa sig and SAE have good parties too.

Kent State University - KSU 3.0 The top few fraternities and sororities are crazy selective, but besides them you can get a big from just about anyone else. There are big differences between top houses and mid-bottom ones. The involvement isn't that much and if you want to party you better have greek connections for all the good ones are greek.

Kent State University - KSU 4.0 Okay first off, why are there so many fraternities compared to sororities? Kent State University - KSU 2.5 greek life at kent is a joke. the houses are either full of awesome people or weirdos. idk don’t get distressed if you don’t get the house you want you’ll still meet cool people everywhere.

Kent State University - KSU 4.0 Low hazing, sororities and frats work together well for many events some better than others. For how good some of the chapters are though they really need to get some better housing.

Kent State University - KSU 4.3 Great community that gets along pretty well. Minimal problems with hazing and racism like other schools have. While greek life falls apart across the country it will last at Kent State. Most school wide leaders are in greek life

Kent State University - KSU 4.3 Kent State Greek Life is amazing. Period. Although there are some kinks within greek life, for the most part its pretty supportive and inclusive.
