new sorority??

So, how did Kappa Alpha Theta, DG and Chi O get picked to come to NYU to be considered as a new sorority??\n\n\n\n\n

If a sorority wants to colonize at a new school, they send representatives from their nationals (or in DG's case, executive offices) to give a presentation to the school's director of Greek life. From there, the school decides who they'll let colonize based on who would be popular and who they think would be a good fit for campus. Theta, DG, and Chi O are all huge, nationally-recognized sororities, so I wouldn't be surprised if NYU's student activities board were attracted to them based on name recognition.
