Yeah, for fraternities you basically have to just go to the parties the first two weeks or ask a guy you see wearing letters the first couple days.

If you want more information or an easier way, probably just check out their websites which can be found on the eiu website under "greek life" and "IFC" and you will get a list of the chapters and their sites which usually have some sort of contract info. Then there is also pantherpalooza too which almost every fraternity is usually at too.

For girls, you just have to sign up for formal recruitment which can be found on the eiu website under "greek life" and it should be the first thing you see on the top of the screen

Only D Chi, Delt, Phi Kap, Pike, SAE, Sig Chi, and SigEp have links to their websites though and most likely you won't want to join D Chi or Phi Kap (two weirdest ones on campus), so don't know if it helps too much.
