what are my chances?

by: USASenior14

If I took time off of school and am supposed to be a senior next year, but still have a few years left in school, what are my chances of receiving a bid? Should I still go through rush?

Do it. As long as you're enrolled you'll have 4 years in your organization. There's plenty of older people that rush. It's refreshing to have people in graduate/professional school.

For the sororities, they look for girls who will be a help to their organization. A good rule of thumb is if you can go through rush one year on the other side (i.e. you're recruiting new members), then it's likely that you'll receive a bid. I've never seen any of the Panhellenic sororities extend bids to graduate school women.
