It is the middle of the semester and you are ready to get out of school and relax for spring break. No matter what your plans are, it’s important to make sure you have everything you need to make sure you have a trouble free break. Here is a list of some things you should make sure you have to make that happen.

Make copies of your documents. If you’re traveling out of country, make sure you have copies of your passport, cards, and whatever else you’re bringing, just in case something happens to them.

Bring extra cash. Some places don’t take card and you can avoid potential ATM fees if you pull out cash before your trip. Also just in case you get your wallet stolen, have some extra cash hidden in your suitcase.

Open a credit card. It might be a good time to open your first credit card. Sometimes you think you have enough money and you end up short. Just remember not to go too crazy with the card because you have to pay that money back.

Make a list of everything you bring. Seems like a thing your mother would tell you make, but it could really help you make sure you’re not leaving anything behind.
Sunscreen. No matter where you are, slather that sunscreen on. Better to be safe than sorry later.

Pepper Spray. This one may seem kind of crazy to get, but it could really help you out of a tough spot in case as someone is attacking you when you get separated from your friends.

Flip flops. Wherever you go, flip flops always come in handy because they’re easy to put on and take off. Make sure you pack a pair so you don’t have to go without them or spend to get a new pair.

Chargers. Make sure you pack chargers for all your devices you’re bringing. You know your friends may forget so better to be safe than sorry and bring that phone charger.
