It’s that time of year again: signing up for sorority formal recruitment! And for potential rushes, it's time to start shoping for your outfits. Even though recruitment isn’t until the begining of the school year, it is best to start shopping ASAP. Since formal recruitment is a week long and (obviously) more formal than in the spring, I’ve provided some outfits to inspire you as you go through the pledging process! You'll have about 1,000 things to stress out about, but hopefully by planning ahead your outfits won't be one of them
Disclosure: I have listed the rounds based on how my university scheduled them. Other schools may have different names for their different rounds of recruitment.

Round 1: Sisterhood Day

The first round equals the first impression. I chose this outfit because it’s the perfect balance of dressy and casual for your first day meeting the girls.

Round 2: House Tours

Round 2 of recruitment is house tours. On this day you’ll walk through all of the houses that invite you. Because most houses have stairs you’re feet will want to be comfortable while also looking fab and this outfit is sure to do the trick!

Round 3: Philanthropy

The 3rd round is the day you will learn all about the sorority’s philanthropy. Most likely you’ll be walking around the house and looking at photos of philanthropy events that both the sorority hosts and also the events that they partake in.

Round 4: Preference Night

The last night before earning your bid is preference night. This is the dressiest round so heels, a dress and accessories are a must! Here are a few different combos to fit your fancy (literally)!

Round 5: Bid Day

Congrats, you’ve received your bid! But what do you wear now? Not to worry, your new sorority will provide you your outfit to go with their theme!
