Since all of you prospective 20's have been asking stupid questions on this, I will clarify everything for you. All frats haze besides SigEp. The better the frat, the harder the pledgeship. If you dont want to take the time and effort required to join a "top" fraternity, then dont. Dont just rush "top houses" because you think youre too cool. Chances are you arent. Everybody on campus is cooler than you that first month. We have been collegeing, you have been drinking busch light in your buddies basement. Dont try to be cool, just be yourself. The people rushing you can tell the difference every single time. Dont rush at only 3 different places. Go to as many events as possible from the start and narrow it down from there. Dont make your decision based on parties, as greek life is much more than partying. Get to know the dudes at sober dinners, etc. Dont make your decision based off where your friends decide. Your 4-5 years will be much more enjoyable in the right house han in the house you joined with all of your high school pals. Ladies, the sororities do a great job of getting you in the house where you fit in the best, so dont just have 1 house youre set on before your rush or whatever its called. Thats not how it works. Sororities, as far as I know, dont haze. Rush around with the kids in brom or wherever you live, expand your circle early on so that when you land in a house, you have friends all over the place. Dont drink too much and be smart/safe.
