It's not as simple as those 3 being the top everywhere. Those fraternities tend to be high quality but are by no means the only ones.

I'm not a SigEp, but I've noticed that at most schools it seems to be between you guys (SigEp), Sigma Chi and SAE. One of my brothers is a SigEp and the other a Sigma Chi, both going to different schools. Those three are really strong at both campuses. I've also checked out a bunch of different schools before I attend, and again, SigEp, Sigma Chi and SAE are all pretty much at the top.

Fully agree. SigEp is generally a top or upper ranked fraternity at most chapters.

SigEp, their non-pledging and pledge chapter differences aside, still is by far, one of, if not THE, most dominating, strongest and consistently upper tier fraternity in the nation. Incredible quality in the vast majority of their chapters. I'm seriously amazed.

I still think the traditional is the way to go. I come from a traditional chapter and was initiated fall 2011. I think that it made my pledge class really understand what it meant to be a brother and what it really meant to truly love one another. And there is no way possible that just getting a random group of guys together and not make them go through something is going to creat any sort of brother hood. You just get a bunch of guys who claim they are brothers and claim they are together, but when it comes down to it, they wont go into a fight where the odds are 100 to 1 just to save and fight for their brother. They won't take a bullet for their brother. I know I will do anything for all the people in my house, whether I like them or not, because they will do the same thing for me and they are there for the same reason I am and that is to be apart of a brother hood. and i know this because they stuck out everything that got thrown at them and made it just like me and my pledge class
